CHRIS & CARLY :: MARRIED! THE ARTISAN HOTEL – LAS VEGAS

We migrated towards each other. It was as simple as that.

Carly and I met each other in a graphic design class in college about 3 years ago. There were about 25 people in the class, and about 23 of them were weirdos- excluding us :) After we all had to stand up and say our names and what we wanted from the class, i immediately knew that she i and would be friends…at least for the semester. I had no idea how close we would become. Fast forward to now, and Carly has been a second shooter and hang-out pal for most of the weddings I’ve shot, she’s helped me out in my business decisions, we’ve laughed and cried over family & in the midst of ridiculously hilarious situations, and I’ve never traveled with anyone else as much as i have with her! So, needless to say, I was absolutely honored and thrilled to photograph she and Chris’s super fun and creative wedding at the Artisan Hotel in Las Vegas, NV! It was a simple, vintage-glam wedding and was exactly who they are…fabulous. Enjoy!

The flowers were all arranged by Carly’s great friend, and bridesmaid, Megan Davis. She did an incredible job including Carly’s grandmother’s wedding rings and Chris’s mother’s locket into the feathery bouquet. chris prep

Then it was some alone time for portraits of the gorgeous bride. And, since the hotel was aaammaazzing, i wanted to use as much of it as i can…and we didn’t want to melt in the Las Vegas 100 degree weather :)

Chris & Cah- WE LOVE YOU GUYS. Thank you both again for allowing me to document your wedding day.. It was PERFECT and so much fun. Thanks for letting Matt and I dance our booties off until 2am :) I can’t wait to meet the little Elle!!
