Jeff and Ang’s day was SERIOUSLY so fun!  Every single one of their family and friends were SO incredibly kind, sweet and so genuinely happy for them.  I get super emotional and giddy when i see couples showered with SO much love, as Jeff and Ang were on their wedding day.  To start off, the girls got ready at the W Hotel in downtown San Diego.

Angelina and her mom both ended up getting each other the SAME hankie and quote.  Everyone was a mess of tears.  happy tears :)

Cocktail hour under a large Oak Tree…

Thank you Pure Joy Catering for being amazing all day!  They pulled out ALL the stops for Ian & Eileen’s day and made it super special :)

The Orella Ranch staff were spectacular as well!  What an amazing set-up…

Probably my favorite details of the day: Enjoy Cupcakes!!!  I couldn’t contain my excitement when i found out i was going to be photographing these wonderful confections!  If you’re in Santa Barbara, stop by and see Amber and Kevin, give them a hug and thank them for the party in your mouth that you’re about to experience, grab a cupcake and ENJOY.  these bad boys are UH-MA-ZING.

This chicken wire cake topper is my favorite detail of the day, for sure :)  Ian’s wooden peg person even has a beard!!!  I love it!

Their first dance included everyone ;)Lastly, Eileen is  LAKERS FA-NA-TIC.  She’s the girl that paints her face and wears sparkley purple and gold to her season ticket games.  And, her facebook profile pic was even of Kobe Bryant- no joke.  So, as if Ian & Eileen’s day couldn’t get ANY better…..it CERTAINLY did.  Yep, you guessed it: They just happened to run into thee Kobe Bryant the evening of their wedding!!!  I’m still in shock.  These were Eileen’s words to me about it all:  “This is how I think of it: the universe asked itself, “What else can we possibly give Eileen to solidify this as the very best day of her ENTIRE LIFE?  We have already given her the perfect wedding, family, friends, food, music, libations, and two rainbows.”  Of course the answer was Kobe.  :)” She’s adorable. Happy Birthday McCoy- auntie Jackie loves you!

1. I LOATHE : Chipped nail polish RIGHT AFTER you get your nails done at the salon.  SERIOUSLY so annoying.  It makes me angry.
2. I LOATHE : PT Cruisers.  I’m not quite sure what it is, but i just think these cars are ultra gross.  sorry if you’re reading this and have one :/
3. I LOATHE : Ed Hardy.  BARF.  enough said.
4. I LOATHE : The “P” word.  (Panties)  It’s gross and dirty and I hate it with a vengeance.  I was just having a hard time typing it out i hate it so much :(
5. I LOATHE : Cooking dinner.  Like for real, this is the worst part about my wife/mom role.  I’m bad at it and have no passion to get better at it…if I do have some passion in the slightest, it’s mostly out of guilt. honest.

AND, I’m even more ecstatic to tell you that Chester & Gracie’s Rancho Santa Fe wedding was also featured on the incredible wedding blog!  Too much good stuff :)

The Halleran family were SUPER fun to photograph and hang out with!  They probably thought I was such a dork the entire time trying to get Miles to smile at me/look my way..but hey!  Sometimes that’s just what it takes to get the shot I need to get :) And, thanks Old Town San Diego for providing a great backdrop for our shoot :)  Enjoy!
