This is me at 22. Digital film scan (our whole wedding was shot on film). One of the happiest days of my entire life.

Masai children shot while i was sitting in our van.  I’m not going to lie, they scared me.

A newborn baby Zebra on the side of a road, in the middle of nowhere, who’s mother abandoned it.  A Masai man with sticks and piercings in his face had rescued it and was walking it along a road. Our driver pulled over and got out so we could see and pet it…it was marvelous. I’ll never ever forget that.

Born April 6, 2011. –  11:12 am. –  7lbs 9oz.

WREN ELIZABETH ADELE WONDERS.

Since our little baby had to the NICU right away (look up COOMBS), and I was in bed unable to move (c-section), I didn’t get to take any real pictures of her immediately after her birth.  I’m still trying to not be bitter or angry about it and just accept that it’s the way it had to go down.  Here’s some of the only images I was able to capture from my bed.

Emery was ECCSTATIC to meet her new baby sister.  Her soft, sweet first words out of her mouth after she saw her and kissed her: ” Mommy, I just love her so much”.  HEART MELTED.

And, after we were able to bring her home (A week later :< ), the photos begin!

*Such* a proud and super loving big sis Emery is. She’s been AMAZING with her…we are so incredibly blessed with these two!

And now, Wren is 1 month old already!!!  It has gone by way too fast :(

And, here is the only family photo we have so far.  sad, I know…but we’re taking care of that soon :)

Thank you to those of you have prayed for us, brought us meals, encouraged and loved us.  We are SO grateful.

And, Since it’s been about 6 months coming, and i have yet to officially announced anything yet here…I’ll do it now – we are expecting Baby Wonders Girl No. 2 early next spring!  We are thrilled and cannot wait to be a family of 4!  (Even if it is a *tad* crazy to think about!)  So, to all of my couples for 2011, don’t worry- i will be the same photographer with or without another child ;)

2011 Is going to be amazing!  Merry Christmas!

1. I ♥ MUSE This bands rocks….We got to see them rock a concert in person in San Diego last night.
2. I ♥ DONUTS who doesn’t love donuts? are you kidding me? the glazed twist is my favorite. I think i can eat a donut anytime anywhere. If you ever need to bribe me to do something, just say you will give me a donut.
3. I ♥ EMERY I can’t believe she just turned 3!!! We threw her the most amazing Princess party (pics HERE!!!). She is my BFF and is the only person allowed to call me “Prince Daddy” and I love it!!!
4. I ♥ TOYOTA TACOMA I don’t own this truck, nor do I think that i will be able to get one anytime soon, but I do think it is cool. If and when I ever get one, i would like the four door crew cab with full-length bed in dark gray, with a 4″ suspension lift, moto metal rims, BFG’s, K & N air fitter, etc etc, blah blah awesome. Plenty of room for the bros and boards to go surfing…plenty of room for the family….this thing is sweet!
5. I ♥ SLEEPING oh man do i love sleeping and taking naps. Jackie and I just upgraded our mattress to the TempurPedic mattress and it is fan-freakin-tastic. great back support and it doesn’t transfer any movement. Good night.

To brag about my husband, he’s a really good surfer.
